Hitting the Road

The sixth crew has hit the road: Cain, Josh and Davis have dreamed together of what adventures they could share after graduation from college. Rebuilding of a new Lost Bus seemed like the perfect opportunity. They share a bond for seeking new experiences and a passion for serving others. They are excited to live a life of simplicity while connecting over service work and relationships around the country.

The Power of 3

Intentional reasoning goes into why we travel as a trio. Three is the perfect tie breaker, keeping progress moving on the road, while allowing a diversity of entertainment amongst the group. Additionally it gets pretty complicated to fit more than three people in a 210 sq. ft. bus.

  • Josh Haddad

Josh is a very smooth dancer. He is from Colorado Springs and works as a technology consultant for Ernst & Young. His aptitude for technology and problem solving has proven fruitful already as he has spearheaded the challenge of turning The Lost Bus into a Non-profit. Josh is excited to live a simple life and build new relationships while helping others. Josh’s mom explains that “Josh can always get me to smile. He lives life big and his passion for God and others is contagious.”

  • Cain Compton

Prior to the bus Cain was employed as a carpenter at Richard Marks Restorations working on some of the spectacular historic homes in Charleston SC. His trade experience, while still very small, will be instrumental for many of the service projects encountered on the lost Bus. Cain’s mother describes him as a person who “tends to his commitments, saves time for fun, lives a life marked with kindness and humor, AND has great friends - which makes the journey all the better”.

  • Davis Linscott

Davis is the youngest and lightest of the crew, he carried his passions of the outdoors into his studies at Clemson and chose to pursue a degree in plant science. With a curiosity of how things function around him, he has taught himself a wide array of skills and abilities from welding to bike mechanics to botany. Davis’ mom describes him as “a very caring individual and loves to serve others. Davis has an uncanny ability to connect others. He has both the skills and the drive to make a difference.”
